Cookie policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet or mobile phone) when you visit it. They are used to remember your preferences, analyse how the site is used and, in some cases, show you relevant advertising.

At EntrySwap we use cookies responsibly, with the aim of giving you a smooth experience and continually improving our service.

2. Types of cookies we use

Technical or strictly necessary cookies

No consent required

These are essential for the website to work. Without them, you would not be able to browse properly or use basic features such as signing in or reserving bibs. They cannot be disabled.

Preference cookies

Consent required

These remember your browsing preferences (for example, your language or the filters you have selected) so that you do not have to set them again on each visit.

Analytics cookies

Not used

We do not use any. To find out which pages are visited we use Umami, an analytics tool that does not store or read anything on your device: there is no cookie to accept or reject. The statistics are aggregated and cannot be used to identify you.

4. Third-party cookies

Some of our service providers set their own cookies. The main ones are:

  • Stripe: payment processor. Its cookies are technical and necessary to ensure the security of transactions. Stripe’s privacy policy.
  • Umami: website usage statistics, with the data hosted in the European Union. It does not set cookies or store identifiers on your device. Umami’s privacy policy.

5. How to manage or delete cookies

You can set your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. Please note that disabling technical cookies may affect how the site works.

EntrySwap may amend this Cookie Policy at any time, for example when adding new providers or features. When we do so, we will update the date shown at the top of this document.
